Plaza Park Interiors is a custom workroom based in Mamaroneck, New York. We partner with interior designers, architects, and design-led homeowners throughout Westchester County — including Scarsdale, Larchmont, Rye, and Bronxville — along with Manhattan and the greater Tri-State area. Complimentary in-home and on-site consultations make specifying and installing our work effortless.
We also take on select projects well beyond the New York area. Designers and clients as far as South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee have shipped pieces to our workroom or brought us into projects where craftsmanship matters more than proximity. If you love our work and you are not local, reach out — we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit for your project.
Our workroom is equally at home on commercial work. We produce custom window treatments, upholstery, and furnishings for hospitality, restaurant, and boutique-commercial spaces, building to designer and architect specifications and holding firmly to opening-day deadlines.
The Plaza Park difference
We build everything ourselves.
Our 6,000 square foot workroom in Mamaroneck is where your project takes shape. You work directly with the people building it. No outsourcing. No middlemen. Just craftsmanship from start to finish.
We build to your schedule, not ours.
Renovations and installs run on tight timelines. We plan production around your dates, keep you posted at every stage, and flex our schedule to hit install deadlines — including the hard opening dates that come with commercial and hospitality projects.
Morris Mayer has been doing this since 1987.
He founded Plaza Park Interiors in 2013 with one goal: to build the kind of workroom he had always wanted to run. Every project that leaves this shop carries 39 years of judgment about what works and what lasts.
Our work
Every piece is built by hand in our workroom.
What our clients say
Morris understood exactly what we were looking for before we even finished explaining it. The draperies are exactly right. The whole experience, from our first call to the final installation, was handled with real care.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before starting a custom project.
Everything we make is custom. Plaza Park Interiors is a workroom, not a retail store. We design and build draperies, shades, and Roman blinds to the exact measurements of your windows in our Mamaroneck, New York facility. We do not stock ready-made products. Every piece is made to order.
Our 6,000 square foot workroom is in Mamaroneck, New York. We serve Westchester County, Manhattan, and the greater Tri-State area, including Scarsdale, Larchmont, Rye, and Bronxville. We also take on select custom projects across the East Coast and nationwide, working with clients and designers who ship pieces to us or bring us into their projects.
Yes. For designers and architects in Westchester, Manhattan, and the Tri-State area, we offer complimentary on-site consultations to measure the space, review fabrics, and coordinate specifications for your project. For projects outside the area, we consult by phone and video, and we arrange shipping for furniture and upholstery pieces sent to our workroom.
Most custom projects take four to eight weeks from consultation to installation, depending on fabric availability and the complexity of the work. Reupholstery of a single chair may be faster, while a full room of custom draperies takes longer. We give you a clear timeline during your consultation so you know what to expect.
Yes. We specialize in reupholstering antique and heirloom pieces, including frames that need repair before new fabric is applied. With 39 years of craftsmanship, we treat valuable and sentimental furniture with the care it deserves. Bring us the piece and the vision, and we will restore it properly.
Yes. A significant part of our work comes through interior designers who rely on us as their trade workroom for custom draperies, upholstery, and furniture. We respect design specifications, hold to deadlines, and deliver workroom-direct quality. Designers across the New York area and beyond partner with us on residential and commercial projects.
We work with a wide range of fabrics, including silks, velvets, chenilles, linens, leathers, and indoor-outdoor materials. You are welcome to bring your own fabric, often called COM, or choose from our sources during your consultation. We will advise you on the right material for the piece and how it will wear over time.
Getting started is simple. Call us at 914-200-5959 or request a consultation through our website. For projects in the area, the on-site consultation is complimentary. We will measure, review the design specifications, confirm fabrics, and give you a clear estimate and timeline. There is no obligation, and no pressure.
